Heading to Montreal for the long weekend... How do the record shops compare to Toronto?

hey teewok, good times, bro!

montreal shops (used recs) are cheaper, and the bulk bins are a lot weirder and less picked over. less attitude, i find.

for vinyl (used, cheap) i go to death of vinyl / musique nice on st-laurent just between bellechasse and beaubien. other people swear by primitive on st-denis.

for new music (cds, etc.) i usually go to cheap thrills on metcalf because i like the dudes working in there and they have a section for "beats" which is a nice catch all.

there's a run of used cd stores on mont-royal as well, between rivard and (maybe) mentana with some good used stuff.

have a good time mans. shitty weather this year, tho.

ya man doesn't even feel like summer... respect for that info man, I can def go with cheaper. I'll let u know what I buy... although the bulk of this trip will be spent on booze and mcdonalds poutines. Thanks man can't wait to go

oof. avoid les mcD, mans. i don't eat meat, but KNOW you can find real poutine here w/ no problems without having to go to the clown's restaurant, you know?

also, look for the brew pubs here...there are a few w/ awesome stuff. have a great time, mans.

If you stay longer you might be able to catch PB Wolf's show with A-Trak. It's on the 1st of August, I'm not sure where exactly though, but it's in Montreal.
