ive been grindin hard and its payin off... kinda

i sent some beats to Blacksmith records which is the one Talib Kweli started with one of his partners this past saturday. this morning they called me back saying that they dug my beats alot

but they didnt have any openings :cry:

since they deal with hitek pete rock and 9th mainly im assuming. dude told me that they normaly call cats and tell em that their beats didnt fit but dude was like "you;re the first cat that i wanna see make it out of all the beats we get." he then told me about submitting joints to adult swim and others.

we talked some more and he said he wanted to get down with me on some fellow beatmaker shyt.

sorry to be short kinda, but i feel like im making moves in hip hop the right way...

i failed record an album for a little label in 2000, (they call me an dit was great!) but at time i was too much "indie" style to accept it, and, above all, i haven't got enough money to do it, because it was a co-production...

nah i stuck with dirty kics for my hip hop beats and for the trip hop style joints im rocking niq names... which i hope to post some beats soon. im taking this english course right now and its writing intensive so i havent been able to apply myself for a few weeks now.
