hey guyz, at first I wanted to excuse yall for my absence. About 1,5 week ago I started workin pretty hard and I dont have much time for pretty anything other than job. Im gonna be earning them $$$s about 6 weeks more, and after im dun, im back to the sp-world

so now, please consider me as a inactive mod.

I didnt get much out of the material, just posting the little skit. Didnt get the songs to blend in well together either. Need to learn how to beat sync the samples on my 606.

drums are lifted from Billie Jean, so is the synth hit. Bass from factory presets (havnt deleted them yet) and vocals from the strange spanish? prog song.

it turned into some kind of dub thing, still love the battles, great way to work with material i would not have sampled myself

i don't know if we can use the bass from factory presets...maybe you can post something without this? this is nothing against your beat, but i think that in the rules this is not allowed (http://sp-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=764&start=0)...i have personal experience on this: once i was disqualified for using drums from the factory of my sp-505...could you do it in a couple of days please?
anyway, the "strange spanish prog song" is not spanish but italian as i said in the intro ...

yeah wed would be perfect, def enough time, basically i made the beat on the sp, just got to record it out and make sure its as good as perfect to my liking


on the stock bass tip, its a no go, im not the arena pro, but you got to use only the samples provided for the battle for everything, no outside sources at all. the rules is posted on here.

the italian song has sick bass to rip anyway (i thought it was spanish too! haha)

spanish and italian languages seems similar to not mediterranean ears, they're not far, they got same roots, but they're a bit different...

dammmmmn ok. so i wanted to upload my piece but my pc is being whack. it keeps throwing in random spaces of silence while I record (and its never happened before) i let my friend borrow my recording equipment. ill have it up tomorrow
