Midi Trigger SP 404 with SP 1200?

Does anyone here know how to set up the SP 1200 and SP 404 Midi Channels so I can trigger all the sounds from A-J on the SP 404 with the SP 1200.

Here's what I'm trying to do:(match the SP 404 samples to SP 1200 drums)

1. I already have my SP 1200 (drums are sequenced at 188 BPM on the SP 1200) set up to Midi Sync with Sonar Cakewalk. (Ready to record audio basic Midi Sync is set up from my SP 1200 Midi in to Midiman Midi out.)

2. I have the SP 404 midi in going to SP 1200 midi thru but I cannot trigger any of the sounds from the SP 404 with the SP 1200?


So far the only way I have been successful with triggering sounds coming from the SP 404 with the SP 1200 is with A-B pads and with nothing playing on the SP 1200 (just midi in SP 404 to Midi out SP 1200).

A Midi Template Chart with matching Notes etc for the SP 1200 and SP 404 would be helpful.
