I don't think there's anyone who listens to music anywhere who wasn't in one way or another influenced by this man's talent.

That's factuous, but many people are envious of this and won't admit it. There has only been one artist that was able to continue to be innovative till the end and that's MJ.

I think it's stupid that the media bring up the whole kid stuff too. He was acquitted of ALL charges for a reason. Why are there still those dickheads claiming it might be true still, acting as if it was never investigated to the bottom through. Crazy and annoying.

I think Michael did struggle a lot when it comes to the whole paparazzi thing and his own kids. But who wouldn't when you're that famous and constantly stalked by fans and media. In fact, it's a miracle he didn't go postal.

Deeply disturbed? Rather gravely misunderstood if you ask me. I'm not sure why he was deeply disturbed according to you, but just because he looked like a freak, doesn't mean he thought like one. It's like Marylyn Manson, another very intelligent and talented guy that may look scary, but really knows what he's talking about.

Also, Michael Jackson's been acquitted from all charges when it comes to child molesting / pedophile behavior, so don't give me that crap. If he would have been guilty, he would have been jailed a very very long time ago.

People keep bringing this up because he was such an 'easy' target and he used to stop lawsuits altogether. With too much money in his pocket he often decided to just settle it with a bag of money to be done with it.

I can see why he did that, as in America a parent can be convicted of pedophile behavior for watching at their own children at the wrong freaking time. Not saying it's impossible, but the whole pedophile thing is getting old and annoying.

If you did questionable things later in life does that make EVERYTHING about you bad? i mean

if MJ was a child molester, he wasnt always one. I would say that the majority of his life he was not. So why judge the man's total impact without considering that all of his good songs came from an era where he was "normal"

the allegations should not taint the music, since he had not written the classic songs after the fact.

this is if indeed he was a pedophile. lets give him the benefit of the doubt and say that his lack of childhood drove him to surround himself with childish imagery and eventually children. that does not give an excuse to him, but i think pedophiles have a far less complicated mindset than MJ. its possible that he is just THAT weird that he would sleep with kids in his bed without hurting/molesting them

but then again, the future may hold many more descriptive cases of a abuse when people get older and may or may not talk about it.

Personally I'd be against letting my children sleep with any random adult person no matter the age or sexuality or how well I knew them, but just because kids slept in his bed doesn't really mean something must have happened.

Being famous doesn't make him a saint, but from a legal point of view I'd say it's a bit stupid to keep bringing the whole pedophile thing up when someone is acquitted from all charges.

I think it's pretty obvious MJ liked kids a lot and he does fit the psychological profile as he never really had a childhood, let alone a normal life from very very early on. But at the very same time, this could be the reason why he was 'that weird' and probably even very naive when it comes to lawsuits and how it would become so easy for people to try and get money from him.

We all know the couple of first lawsuits were settled with bags of money involving hundred of thousands, possibly even millions of dollars. This did more harm than good for MJ.

In the end, I'm not quite sure what to believe. As said, he fits the profile, but apparently there has never been enough evidence to put him behind bars or it would totally have happened.

It's why I am convinced he wasn't a pedophile. He was such a big target, lots of potential money to be won with a lawsuit, if something happened and people would have been able to prove it, they would have filed a lawsuit and won.

after reading alot of pros and some cons...i come to the conclusion that all are rumors and noone can be convicted unless found guilty. MJ was never found guilty ...yes i know that alot of money was paid to keep people quite but ...hey all in all he was a 50 year old kid...that´s all.

i was never a big MJ fan myself eventhough I went to one of his concerts back in the 80´s cause i loved that THRILLER album alot.
