sampling from my record player

sampling from my record player
i was just wonderin what kind of cables i need, do they make 1/4 inch to rca female? cuz i run my 606 through my stereo amp and i can only use the sampler or the record player one at a time, thanks

Yeah, they have quarter inch to rca.
Usually, I hook turntables (record player) up to a mixer, since you will need a phono preamp for the player, then to the sampler, which is 1/4 to 1/4. The mixer has 4 channels so I can have multiple things plugged in at the same time and send it to the sp. If you can get a mixer, it really helps when recording to the sp's single stereo output.

Yea i agree with meta......the sound of the sample is much better if you run your tables through a mixer because it has a phono line in, plus there is a ground hook up that will eliminate some impurities of sound.......but if no mixer is present, you can always go get some rca to 1/4in jacks and get the job done...they're only like $1.99 a piece.....you'll just have to find somewhere to ground your turntable.......Good luck with everything
