SP303v102SM .wav maker?

anyone have updated his own sp-303 with SP303v102SM (.wav maker) and SP303v102? maybe i'm wrong but could this be a way to export .wav files? you can find this updating (in the support section i remember) at roland.
the READ ME of SP303v102SM says :

***SP-303 System Update Procedure***

You can update your SP-303's system via SmartMedia.

What you need:

1. SP-303
2. SmartMedia Card
3. SmartMedia Card reader for your computer.

**Note: Updating the system software of your SP-303 will erase all internal samples. Be sure to back up your data.

Update Procedure:

1. Copy the file "sp303.prg" to a SmartMedia card that has been formatted by the SP-303.
2. With power off, insert SmartMedia card in the SP-303.
3. Power on the SP-303 while holding [FILTER+DRIVE], [PITCH] and [DELAY].
4. Press [REC] when it begins flashing.
5. When "END" and Checksum are displayed alternatly, power off the unit.

**You can now reload your data**

....i didn't tried the second one (SP303v102), i only tried SP303v102SM (.wav maker), but nothing different from before happened...
....do you know something about those strange things ?

those files from the second procedure are midi data i believe. if im not wrong, the second one is the just another way of updating the os through midi. please some body correct me if im wrong.

It ain't on there anywhere. Also I googled both of those filenames and got zero results. Nowhere in the SP-303 manual is there anything about saving and/or exporting .wav files. You can load .wav files from the card but no saving. I owned an SP-303, you can not export .wav files at all.

the files are exactily where you linked...you have to download your version in .zip or .rar files, but it's true that in the manual nothing says that we can export .wav files. we can only export sp-303 data files in form of sets...but i hoped that it was possible...

I was looking for JUST that questio!!
can I edit my sp-303 samples on my pc?
YES but only if you resample on your PC then copy it over as a 16bit 44.1 khz WAV or AIF.
BUT also NO the sp-303 natively does not export editable data for the PC or MAC.

too bad we dont have some programmers around who can figure out the roland format!!

I hate sampling with the sp-303 and then "wanting" to edit it in my pc, I dont like the idea of having to re-sample to the pc just to work it then send it back to the sp-303, but its all part of the process I suppose, its all about how DOWN you wanna get!!
