hi guys,
i just got my sp404 in yesterday and tried to record a 1 minute piece of music.
thats all working fine untill i add an effect to the sample while playing.
then the sample cuts out after like 10 secs,
so no sound, but the knob still lights up untill the time has elapsed.
after that the sample only plays a short blurp of a millisecond when pushed,
same with all the samples on that bank.
btw>this is a sample recorded on bank C, so on the card.
when i turn the sp404 off and on or take the card out and put it back in, things are normal again.
could this be a memoryproblem, a bad 404 or a bad card?
thanks,
nathan/amsterdam

Hello Nathan.
When 404 acts really weird, in 99% of the cases it's the faulty Compact Flash card which causes troubles. I recommend you buying another card ( sooner or later it's recommended anyway ) and checkin you sp out.
peace man
edit: Which effect are you applying?
