recording for a longer period of time...?

Post by Riup »

im trying to put an effect over something in fl studio, but i want to just let it keep playing so that i can do it over and over again to ensure i get it just how i want it, then cut that section out and use it in the track. is it possible to do this? when you hit record to sample things it doesn't give you to long...

open edison

select an input in the drop down menu

should look like
(input L input R)

fruityloops is now running through your 555 and back into fruity

so you can sample it as long as edison can run.

the only problem is that i dont know how to turn the monitor off in FL so youre going to have to figure that out or else you will have an added echo on the recording

set it to "record on play"

i stopped using fruity because its much easier to do what you are trying to in live

live is like a 555 sidekick

send it in, send it back repeat

if i do my drum tracks in live i always do the effect memory freak out on top of it
