^ hahaa... You really want it?

I find it kinda hard to find some nice melodic samples, I means drums and percussions are easy to get but notes... Maybe I should give my voice a chance_! Kinda funny how my mind changed since yesterday, got some pretty wide open ears these days....
*oh that shit sounds nice* I don|t use 404 as a fieldrecorder cause I don|t got a mic to plugin. I use my lil condensator mic through a mixer straight into the sp, guess that|s ok...

to make things clear (yes, i'm a bollock breaker :) ):
1)when it's over the #50 battle?
2)can we use ALL the "natural" sounds?
3)can we sing? rap? or use our voice only to "sound"? or in a "prefuse 73" way?
4)no bass/synth at all?

thanx

i know everybody's setups are different, so any way you get a signal from your mic is just fine, even if you record your samples to tape first. i'll be using some old radioshack omni piece of junk mic.

the only musical instrument you can use is your voice; no synths, drums, guitar, not even a tamborine. but you could capture a train going by, or hit pots and pans, or run your finger over a wine glass to get a tone (you could pitch that down to get bass for example). electronic toys are acceptable if they're not playing music. rapping/singing is just fine. i think the battle is over a week from yesterday officially? we can play it by ear though.

sorry hd but i have to quantize, knowin where i lay my eggs turnin into five flies, add a little swing with a freestyle snare, but overall precise and strictly hardware...

i feel bad for those without a 404... we got battery power!!

inside an house there are anyway some interesting sounds...also in the w.c. :) ...
are farts valuable? :)
seriously, we can use also our body(or whatever) using contact microphone. it's easy and very cheap to build a contact microphone. if you want to know how, write, i'm not expensive :) .
ok,feel free to ask.

a piezo electric transducer microphone. They are typically the size of a quarter. I like to tape them to drum skins for extra effect.

you can easly find the piezo inside the crhistmas (or birthday) card with music. it's a round metallic little and skynny thing. solder it with inside cables of a guitar jack and that's all.
here's an example.
