TWO MPDS ... i felt really limited by switching banks because i couldn't really combine banks, it was either this or that. so now... that has all be taken care of, alittle different to get used to while playing them both but man.... i'm alot happier with what's coming out now and i'm sure two of them will be handy for live use.
so if you're looking to spice things up in your production, i would really suggest two mpds. and shit... the new mpd 18 looks pretty damn cool. cheap.
whats better than one mpd?

but you have to have a keyboard to plug it into because the 555 doesnt transmit midi messages, i cycled through all the pedal settings and none of them do
it would have been interesting to have the effect turn on and the kick to be the same trigger
i did this in ableton live, you select a clip and in launch settings set the quantization to none and mode to trigger. the cntrl m to midi map and just select the sample. then play your sp's on top

i can't use my hands and feet at the same time at all. my foot pedal has been collecting dust for years
