this is a track i made with a 1 track cassette recorder i bought only for 5€ in a shop.
this is also a shout to Otherish, who loves hiss & noises.

tempo............................................................86bpm
duration.........................................................1,40" (maybe)
gears.............................................................sp-303, philips d6350, zoom mrs-4

yes! more hiss! :) Is this straight from the phillips, or did you compress it after? What I find kinda interesting is you can hear this pumping in this hiss along with the beat. So I'm wondering if it's the phillips? or some compression afterwards creating the pump. Hissy grit! <3!

hey thanx!
i recorded the beat straight to the philips d6350 (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:PhilIPS_D6350.jpg) compressing the drum part with the sp-303 compressor (a beast of fx!) and then i played it trought the sp-303 (without 303 fx) but using a little the primitive eq of the philips (and also his weird pitch weel...cool) straight into the zoom mrs-4 digital recorder.

thanx
