And I agree with hurlingdervish on the variety of dubstep... take DMZ, Skream, then Clouds, then Starkey, then Mount Kimbie, then The Bug - you're all over the place. The newer Hyperdub wonky stuff is killing it right now - Zomby, Ikonika, Joker, etc. A wide variety of sounds. I don't like the Chase and Status, Caspa, and such sound - "the wobble yob" music as Blackdown calls it, but the majority of the stuff on Tempa, Deep Medi, and Hyperdub is really good music.

yeah it seems to be a moderately controversial name, but there are some pretty solid music journalists that use it - I think it's a pretty lame name, but I like the guys that are lumped into that category.

Anyways, I am one American that loves UK electronic music!
