what is the gears by the side of the audio interface?
and what about the tascam 134?it is just a 1 track k7 recorder or what?

Yeah, def <3 the 202! Regarding the other gear, those are FMR Audio compressors. The top is the RNC, and the bottom is the RNLA. The RNLA is pretty thick sounding.. so I use it to glue stuff together. Don't use the RNC as much as I thought I would, but it's good for clean compression. Then there's the 134.. it's basically a rack mount 4 track. It's doesn't have the eq you usually get on the portastudios, nor a bounce track. It's just 4 raw tracks with volume/pan. I love it to death. heh.

The blofeld is basically swapped for a desktop evolver (yay!)

unfortunately waldorf are being incredibly slow in giving me a replacement License SL DVD (something is wrong with mine.. errors all over the disc.. not on the parts that matter for the upgrade, but cant trade till its replaced)

So this picture here is going to be redundant once the trade is done.. I guess just swap the blofeld's spot for an evolver haha..

I'm really really happy now with my setup - its really counterintuitive to have the keyboard behind everything else, but everything else is right in front of me here... its AWESOME.. having things angled towards the middle might take up more room, but its WAY better than having them all in a straight line along the front of the desk - i can always reach everything, and when i turn my head, the interface i'm focussing on is always facing directly at me, every knob within reach!

the only downside is the record player is a little off to the side.. I'm thinking of getting a little side table to put next to my chair for it though.

sorry bout the quality.. phone camera.

prepping things for some video action,
the webcam mirrors everything for some reason, so everything is backwards.

sequencing everything from the RM1X now (thanks Cartesia!), getting acid from the MC09, drums from SP-404, pads/synths/instruments split between RM1x and QY70. the padKontrol has a scene for every MIDI channel for on-the-fly tweaks/rolls/pad-bashing. Aux send from mixer to Zoom 505 pedal (or sometimes to the SP)

depending on what is you set up, it's a good idea to have an angle based deck like this. expecially when you have lot of gear, this could be a nice and practic solution.

the MC09 is a fantastic piece of gear. optimised for very aggressive acidy leads and fat round basses though. not such a diverse range of sounds, but it excels in those areas
