Hey,

I'd like to know how I can record a loop whether it be external or internal, and then use the quantization feature to make them perfect time wise. Can I even do this? Any help is appreciated.

thanks

i think he means quantize say a chunk of audio that contains multiple notes etc... which you cant. you can only quantize the pattern information.

So I can't record a guitar loop that is slightly off and fix it?

Also, what is the quantization for then?

EDIT: Nevermind I get it now. Quantize is used to make sure that your whole song flows together with the different pads and everything right?

Quantize will line up individual samples that you play live into the sequencer onto a certain beat.
