QY70 tutorial/help please!!

Would someone with a QY70 please be able to help me,

I'm trying to get it to transmit MIDI out,

but at the moment it doesn't seem to be sending anything - eg when I hit the micro-keyboard notes, it will play an internal sound, but the midi data light on my synth does not flash. - meaning absolutely no MIDI is getting out of the QY70.

The synth is setup properly, it seems the MIDI settings on the QY70 are setup right too..

Is it something in the individual voice settings that I have to change?

check the switch on the right hand side of unit, make sure it's set to MIDI

i was sending MIDI from that unit only days before i sent it to you, so it definitely sends

i use qy70 to controll via midi the roland d2(a synth) or the akai remix 16(a sampler). i act like this:
on the top right you have the menu button to acces to "utility", check this and you have a page with clock and etc etc you push menu button again and you have midi. then set midi to in/out and pattern 1-8(it depends on your gear).
check also the octave thing: maybe the sound it's depending on that too.

don't forget to put a midi cable to the midi out of the qy70 and the midi in of your gear
