Jesters tricked out gear and something rad!

I use my Sp 505 for live phrase sampling and doing some loop interludes at our show (along with my microkorg). I recently decided that the road has put a large amount of abuse on my "studio grade" products recently, and in order to keep them in fine working order when they are on stage with me (any fan of WEDDG can tell you, I am not kind to my gear). So I started mod-ing the microkorg by wrapping it in metal and making a handle bar that rns around the outside. When I finished that (now dubbed KORGATRON) I decided to make the boss 505 match. I started sanding the blue plastic area to get it to take to paint so I could paint it flat black (in the areas where the metal doesn't cover) to make it look digestable- in doing that, I found that the blue plastic is actually CLEAR, so I changed gears and put led lights inside of it and soldered them into the main power, since the LEDs run so little power it didn't affect the way the boss runs and I now have a rad looking peice of gear!! Anyone know where and how I can do the OS upgrade for the 505? I have heard about it but have no idea how to get it or even get it to go on it....

The latest OS is Ver.1.02

Check your 505's version by holding ENTER and EXIT when you power it on

under "downloads" http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=175

Two ways to do the update: you can either download a O.S. file witch you put onto the SMcard and load into the SP, OR you download about 10 MIDI-files that you play into the 505 from a sequencer.

Hey, and I don't even have a 505 yet! Buying one a.s.a.p. tho'.

I will post a pic of it asap for you guys, thanks for the speedy replies and the interests. I had a few bugs with some of the physical aspects after it was finished, so a friend had to take it and work on it, as soon as I get it back i will take a picture for you, thanks- J
