SD to Compact Flash Adapter

Did anyone ever try a SD to CF-Adapter (Converter) on the "I only take Sandisk-CF or else I won´t work"-SP-404?

These Adapters look kinda cheap to me....but maybe they´ll work with a 1GB Sandisk SD-card?
