hey wut up yall? i use cool edit to record tracks then back to the sampler to master, but for some reason some of the samples im using are coming out way low after the recording is done. when im recording every thing sounds good, but when i play it back there seems to be like an isolater or a filter just on the sample but not on the other parts of the same track.(like the drums and bass, (which yes, are all on the same track(track 1))).

so the only thing i can think is there is some kind of "play back", isolater or filter that is turned on in cool edit but i dont know where any thing is or what any thing means.

so if any of this makes sense and you know something about the program, let me know, please. thanks. peace.

i've been using cool edit pro for years, and that's the first time i've heard of this problem. i would think the prob is more likely found in yr cables or in yr sound card.
have you tried recording out of different software into yr sp-? like maybe d/l'ing audacity (free) and seeing if the prob is there also?

thanks fauna. yea i recorded everything into a casette 4-track and the sample did the same thing. i still dont know why this is happening but its not cool edit. peace.
