Do you make any money from your beats

Was wondering if anybody is making any money from there beats i have downloaded several cd's worth of tracks and there is some really awesome material being produced

I guess theres some people that make some money...but its endless swamp...deeeep swamp, theres crazy amounts of "beatmakers" out there that sell beats. Im not against this...but its getting so crazy, eveybody wants to be "producer" nowadays, not enough MCs...

And people (producers) pay $$$-$$$$ to top mcs to get 16 or whole song. When u get somebody bigger feat on your beat, u can then say...i have done this and this...its part of that marketing strategy. Its crazy.

If u check out some "no name" beatmakers, they got albums out...with crazy feats...people can really get almost everybody to rap on your beat if u got $$$...or same way to MCs, u can almost get everybody to make beat for you if you pay enough...

But yeah...im not against this, everyone can do whut they want. And i say its really cool bonus if you make some money from music.

what a terrible but wonderful thing

it frees everyone to produce and release,... another example of things that are meant to be better for us. . and everyone mostly thinks they are better..

but it just pushes the underground deeper under.. allows art forms to be desecrated.

I think its great that everyone has the ability to do something, but all of a sudden mediocrity has become acceptible/praised..

Every man and his monkey posting youtube vids of their fat beats recorded through an iphone camera and microphone, or starting up 'net labels' and 'professional studios'

I think im going to start a label that only releases on defunct media formats, so that its so expensive to make a release, that only the very best work will be pressed. And so that none of the 'norms' will ever be able to catch onto the music and desecrate it too. No doubt they'll catch on eventually though. . the media leaves no stone unturned in their quest to destroy 'little' things via massmarketing.

Get a label?
Just get real good...and work with some other producers, singers, MCs whatever.
Then send in a demo or something to a record label or I don't know.

Here's my strategy:
HOW TO GET FAMOUS AND EARN MONEY AND SHIT
First, add "lil" to the beginning of your name and replace any "s" with a "z"(same goes for "cks" or "cs" or "ks" to "x")(or just spell your name completely wrong in some idiotic way).
Wear sunglasses and all them gangster clothes like Billionaire Boys club.
Make some weak party music with a rich guy who thinks he can rap(make sure that all your songs have an annoying refrain!) and get the attention of some wack people who are famous, like Soulja Boy or Lil Wayne. When you get signed to Cash Money, S.O.D. or Universal or whatever, start making good music again. Then all the little fans you made will be oh-so-disappointed to find out that your new album actually has good music.
