Are there any ways to change banks on the fly ?

yea... just press the padbank button and select your bank... it wont interrupt what's playing

thanks but i meant like instantly...without the stupid pad bank list. to switch banks while jamming. or to find samples which are still playing in loop mode in another bank.

well i dunno if this helps but instead of scrolling u could just press the appropriate pad to whichever bank u want (bank 9...press pad 9)... of course u cant go higher than 16 and u still have to press the padbank button before anything.... or if u hold function while scrolling it goes in tens instead of one.
but i can see how ur annoyed with that if ur a live player... it may seem quick but its not quick enough... and it tends to scroll alot slower when u got stuff playing

Yeah, that sounds like a familiar issue. Even with my current gear, one of the things the MV really lacks are lighten pads when they're played. It's pretty much trial & error to find out which samples you used when you auto chopped an entire sample and just jammed away. Didn't have that problem with the SP-606, because the pads got lights to show if a pad is being played or not.
