To get a Dave Smith Mopho right now!!!!
I just got mine in a few hours ago and hooked it up, it fits perfectly in my setup. ( Computer running ableton 7, sp606, presonus firepod interface, and axiom 49). Wow, so much bass!! Be careful if you do get one, I think the resonance of the filter just blew my eardrums! WEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its true, it's taken one day to fall in love with the yellow machine. And no, no videos I have found ( even keybrdwizards) can do it justice. I almost went deaf from my pa speakers when I started with doing a filter sweep with the resonance. IT'S AMAZING!

Have ya tried audio input yet and effect it?

I haven't really tried it in much depth, but I've messed around with it. There's a lot you can do with it, and it's really not that hard to get around on the front panel, it's easy to find any parameter with the four assignable knobs. I have yet to dive into the software editor.

can i do a square wave with a lfo tied to filter cutoff then have the lfo speed and amount on 2 knobs?

yeah you can have a 'performance mode' where the four knobs are assigned to whatever you want.

I agree.. everyone should own at least one DSI synth.. I want to get another evolver one day.. I miss it quite a bit

I would also like to have an evolver. The sound you get out of Dave's synths, you can't beat for the money. This is my first analog synth and I can definitly tell a difference and see why people are analog elitists. And yes you can do all that on the mopho, anything you want to do can be done with the four knobs. I've been toying with the idea of getting a behringer bcr and mapping everything.
