is there anyway to save effects to a pattern for ex.
ppattern 1 compression and flitler
pattern 2 reverb
without havin 2 go manually and appply that everytime.
btw: no laptop or p 606

Nope, but it does save the MFX settings for an entire song. If you want to save the MFX from a pattern, you will need to resample the pattern.

The easiest way to do that record externally and record back into the 606 if I am not mistaken.

Interesting! So in other words, if I do my sequencing primarily in song mode (don't know how efficient that would be, as I still haven't got hold of the unit), efx settings are saved...? That does sound promising.

Yup that's right. Ill Green is right though, resampling is the best way to save FX into your songs. Using the MFX on an entire song is very useful though, but once you'll get into the 606 that will be obvious. :)

There's a lot you can do with the FX when you resample. (press a pad with the MFX you want on, resample and save to an empty pad; really easy.)
