Compact Flash card reader

hi
i read the sp-808 manual and it said that it use zip reader. i've read somewhere on the net that mpc 2000xl has the same compact flash reader to install into the sp-808 (or 808 e-mix).
is this possible?
is this an easy thing to do (for a dummie)?

^That's a great question. I've been peepin these things out and wonder the same thing.

I read a few comments about the zip not reading fast enough for the sequencer. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Does the unit glitch when playing back sequences? or is it solid?

try with Count Sierackula, at last me i didn't bougth the sp-808 beast.
