16bit 44.1kHz samples giving UnS error? HELP!

Post by steelyphil »

This is driving me nuts. I have some 808 samples that, as far as I know, should work. But when I try to import them, they don't. I'm particularly happy with these samples, and would really like to get them working. Any suggestions???

EDIT: And no, there aren't unsupported characters in the filenames.

Put 'em on your iPod and record them.

I could be wrong - but I think the 404 import is only looking for either .wav or .aif 16/44 sound files. If you're trying to import samples that are already in SP format - I've a feeling it won't work, unless Roland have sneaked it in as a new feature in an o/s update.
