Recording Audio In Reason!

Post by ColeRockLee »

Holy fucking shit, it's about time.

EDIT: Correction here. It's actually not a part of Reason it's a standalone program called Record. It is however Rewire compatible so it can integrate with Reason. Seems it's built in the same sort hardware emulated style as Reason.

from the page
"The bad news: it is still a dongle. Internet authorization requires a consistent connection while you’re working; the moment that’s dropped, the software reverts to demo mode"

thats a pretty shit move to combat piracy. what about people who dont care about the internet and just want to record with their laptop at a friends basement jam session? oh sorry no wifi here, you cant record.

if they change that it looks like you could do some serious work in that program

Damn I missed that. Yeah that pretty much blows it. They never needed to do that kind of bullshit with Reason.

if you need a freeware(well now it's shareware but you can you use it unlimited!) that will record Reason's tracks check:

I found Record very promising...it was about time to get rid of Cubase,Sonar and other stuff for home recording....
