What gear/samples/instruments did you use?

I edited the samples in ableton which all from the Meditations album and the rest I collaged together on the SP then feed back into my Computer and edited it on audacity. Kind of a pain in the ass but I hope it turned out well.

Cool thanks, I'm still building my ear for Jazz and don't know much more than Miles Davis.

yeah Jazz is probably my favorite genre of music. If you want to build an ear for jazz, look for labels like Blue Note, Impulse, Prestige, and a lot of the stuff on Atlantic is good. Just look for those labels when you go digging.
