Synth import

I'm trying to import a synth sample that is an 8 bar loop at 120bpm. It's a perfect loop from the computer and a precise length. However, when I import it (via CompactFlash) to a pad, it reads the bpm at 90. This poses a problem syncing it with the 120bpm drum loop I have. Any fixes?

just slap it down as 120 any . no tempo adjusting , it will match the other 120 loop peace.

I don't know how to slap it down as 120bpm when it's being imported from a Compact Flash card.

set your sequencer to 120.

set your qtz to 4 or 8 .

slap down the 120 loop, slap down the drum loop.

When I import from the card I can't set tempo or quantize options. I need the loop to import at a the same tempo as the drum loop so I can set their tempo to pattern and control the midi tempo with an external controller.

Unfortunately the controller doesn't set tempo with numbers, just a slider. So, the loops have to be in sync before I get to pattern mode.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps a midi master clock device that has two outputs. (One to the 404 and the other to my current midi master [that has midi in and out]) Do you know of anything like that?

Yet another option is that perhaps I could re-sample the loop at a different tempo. Is that possible?

nah man, what he is sayin is that the sp is readin the loop wrong and misreading its length, but that shit is the same length as it was on your comp, nothings changed, so just sequence however you were going to on the first beat of the first bar and it will still be in time with the drum loop, 404 just sometimes miscalculates bpm, especially if there isn't a some sort of rhythm in the drums
