Question On The SP 606

yo 606 man or anyone else that can help jus one thing I havent read thru the forums fully but uumm how can I turn my pitch up and down without changing the tempo of a sample and how can I change the tempo of a sample without messing with the pitch? If thats possible..

Respample.......thats what i do.....I put the effects that I want on prior to sampleing then just go ahead and sample it again........If I dont like it I just try again.......im not really good at using this thing yet,(not enought time to work wit it)......If there is a more simple way to do so, Im sure someone out there knows.......I'd like to know for sure

The P606 software can do it in its sample-player. The sound must be an 'acidized' wav file though.... so you'll need at least the cheapest version of Sony Acid to do it properly. The really cheap version of Acid is less than 50 bucks 8)

Again this is something that a lot of peeps don't like about the 606 - it really needs a computer to shine...but it doesn't worry me!
