dudes... all this renaming gets mad confusing.
Think of it as branding... even in a specific and somewhat limited arena, such as the SP Forums... how is someone supposed to feel like they really know and like your music when people keep changing their names. It takes a while to get to feel familiar with an artists style and identity... and when you (the artist) change it, you start over from square one with the entire listening community.
I vote for peeps to pick a name and stick with it... at least as far as their forum moniker. If you want to release stuff under different aliases, that's cool... but keep the same name on the forums so the rest of us can follow along with your ventures and support you!
Keep in mind you lose all the equity and recognition you've worked so hard to build up every time you change your name.

i wasnt gonna change it on the forums just when i put somethin out but you're right in the sense that it'd be a fresh start which can be good or bad. im still @ the beginning stages anyway so im not acting on anything yet. but if i did rock a japanese name it'd be somethin like ultra man or one of them dudes along that line. i used to be big on that shyt when i was young

i think Jmoki is your best bet. its simple but original and it means something to you. when i hear jedi knights specific images come to mind, when i hear jmoki, ill be looking for your music to attach to that name then they will be glued together.
and episode 1 wasn't that bad if you take out jar jar and anakins voice. duel of the fates is a sick song

1) like the idea of doing trip hop stuff, would like to hear how you'd do that. its a form i like to play around with (ridiculous sig below aside).
2) i support and share the idea of working under different names for different projects, or even different names for one.
3) niq names is a great handle. the 'niq' part reminds me of the three-character spaces you got for high scores on old arcades like q-bert and karate champ.
4) three rotor engine is also good. i'm a fan of solo dudes having 'band' names, which this sounds like to me.
generally speaking i support any artist name that offers more creativity than the typical DJ 9MilGLOCK and the FLYINGWEAPUNZ COSTA NOSTRAAAA or whatevs.
also, tooootally agree with the count ^^ up there and addressing aliases on the site. i too am just sussing out who does what and who's stuff i really dig, share similarities with (or even the opposite), and blah blah....trying to get to know peeps' work and the shifts are cool and aw that but it makes it hard to do this.
