Lol, yeah, there's nothing quite as rewarding as living the life of a pro beat maker, constantly feeling the near-unbearable pressure of a dozen deadlines making you curl up in a corner whilst desperately trying to concentrate into making yet another 10 beats simultaneously, even though your body is way past warning you that you actually are in imminent need of a more healthy dose of sleep per day.

Of course, then there's the money, fame, girls and some more money to make up for all that I suppose.

don't forget doing 3000 sit ups a day and buying brand new clothes every 3 minutes in a constant battle to keep it real!

It’s kinda funny, it’s almost 2020, and we all thought gear would get replaced by software, but gear seems to be going stronger than ever. But somehow it’s possible to use both. But there’s never been, nor ever will be 1 piece of gear that does everything everyone wants. Same goes for software.

But as far as advice to not buy gear: I guess if you’re too busy to have time to yourself to make music, then yeah, maybe don’t bother wasting your money. Because the gear doesn’t make the song. You do. The gear is just a tool you use to make it come alive. But it doesn’t do it by itself. Wether it’s a guitar, synth, SP, MPC, etc.
