microkorg help

Post by Jrezky »

Hi I have just bought a midisport 2x2 anniversary edition and was wondering if I can control things like propellerhead's reason, fl studio, etc with my microkorg? What exact cabling and settings would you recommend for controlling reason?

Yes it can, you need a 5-pin midi cable. Then check the audio preferences in your program and make sure you set it to recognize the interface. All this info will be in the manual for both your midisport and audio software if you're confused.

there's only one setting that will work.

microkorg midi out -> midisport midi in

then you just need to set up the preferences on each device, like euclid says - the manuals will tell you how to do this.
