CARD/WAV CONVERTER TROUBLE
i've been trying to load up samples on the 555 for a couple days now, and it connects perfectly. but as soon as i click on IMPORT it just quits immediately.
I've tried restarting my computer and even uninstalling the wav converter and reinstalling it again, but still it does the same thing. It's weird because I just loaded up samples last week, it only started acting up now.
any ideas?

when u plug your 555 into your mac through usb connection it acts like a soundcard ( you just need to install proper drivers which were included on a cd shipped with 555, or just download it here )
then u must change your present soundcard somehow in your mac ( on WinXP I do this in Control Panel/Sounds
after that every sound which comes from your mac, goes through the 555 and then u hear it in your speakers ( plugged to 555 ).
so all you need to do is:
hit sampling pad ->destination pad ->hit sampling again -> and play the sound from your mac
when u're done just hit the sampling pad once again
basically, that's how it works ( someone correct me if not - cuz I sold my 555 few weeks ago - but when I had it, I used it as my main soundcard also )

I sold my 555 cuz there was no chemistry between this machine and me.
After using 404, I wanted to buy something new, with more options and I thought that 555 will be just what I need.
It turned out that it wasnt that.
So I picked up 606, and Im lovin it! ( dopest things here are: mute groups, 4 track sequencer, 2mfx at a time and really good overall workflow )
