CF Card reader / importing wavs

Post by mamsmduk »

Hello

I just want to be doublely sure before I buy a CompactFlash Card Reader for my computer....

If just put a bunch of wav files on a memory card, and plug it into my SP404, then will the wav files that I put on the card be accessible from the pads?

Probably a really simple question, but i'm new to this!

thanks

yes, once you import them (simple process which converts them from .wav to Roland's own file) they can be played from the pads

You'll need to use the Wave Converter software and assign your wav files to each pad. At least thats how I got'em on there.
