Hmmm... Im not 100% familiar with the 606, but it probably somehow converts all the sample to some roland file format and you unable to get them back without having your cf card inserted into the machine.

However I could not be right, and there is some magic trick that let you do that.

If not, I suggest you going to the Guitar Center where they've got 606's or just find someone who has it, insert your card there, hit some " export files" button and you're done.

elhau is right... From my understanding, the only machines that use the same roland formats are the sp303 and the sp505... unless they made the 555 able to read all formats...i have no idea--->it may help if u post this in the 555 section... but ya man...as far as im concerned u may be outta luck unless theyre is some kind of file converter that somebody made on the net (not likely)

but yo if u really need it that bad... zip the contents of ur card...upload it to zshare or whatever...and i'll track it out into a wav file for u

Seriously, how many forums members are willing to go to so much trouble to help out another? How many other places online you gonna find that kind of willingness to help? SP-FORUMS.COM that's all.

I think when you hook the 606 up to the computer you can "see" the files as Wavs. Only problem is you can't name them, so they have generic computer names so you might not know what's what- click around.
