Changing the speed of the sample -> IS IT POSSIBLE?

Post by Bachine »

I've been trying to figure this out for a while now, and the manual explains how to change the BMP of the sample, but this function does nothing to the speed of the sample. I remember on the 404, you had a pitch control, but is there anything like that on the 606 where i can stretch out a sample or speed it up? Please, I really need this function badly, I dont want to have to upload shit on my computer then go into a program and individually mess with the speed there. Does anyone know how to do it?

I dont have a 606 but a friend of mine that has one told me you can do it...You can change the pitch without messing with the tempo and you can change the tempo with messing with the pitch

I don't have a 606 either, but I know it has usb support so you could stretch it in ableton live or something like that and then load it into the 606. You could also use the chop feature and then you can play the pieces to any tempo without changing the pitch.

You need to check out the sample parameters AND the bpm sync parts of the manual. It can be done all on the machine but there are two sections that need to be attended to first!
