seriously, somethings gotta change on these boards.
the only thing i keep reading is great job, and awesome work and shit.
i mean, the reason you're putting a loop or a beat up on these forums is to know what you could improve on. or at least that's what i expect.

I was just joking around, I've been making beats for some years now and I'm still not very good in my opinion. I would agree there is a fair amount of brown nosing or whatever you want to call it, but it's probably better to error on the side of positivity than let the hate creep in. When people don't get hated on for trying to do what they love it allows them to develop the craft at their own pace rather than feel inadequate, which is how you already tend feel in the beginning.
"you should be studying your arts, instead of studying me"
i like constructive criticism tho, it helps you realize how other people hear what you make. and even a taste of how your music sounds on other forms of output, be it laptop speakers, a stereo system or even a car
well if you played your beats for your friends (not jaylost just anybody "you") then they would probably chew up the downsides of it because they know you will still be friends with them. so when its all strangers on a forum it should be the same if not amplified because you'll never meet them. unless you are just hating a a hip hop song because you hate hiphop then its out of line. criticism has helped me improve even though it sucks to hear it at first.
I think that postivity is very important.......Sometimes I get to thinking dam Im never gonna get better, but then I post something on here and have cats from across the world giving me encouragement, it does help me think yeah I am improving.....but on the flip side Its also good to get critism so long as its said friendly and constructivly
"These compositions are designed to convey the message of hope and happiness and a living message from the better world of tomorrow. This is universal music....A free language of joy."
