just picked it up the other day...matter of fact I picked up most of that gear in the last 2 months so I'm still learning all of it. Dumped my mpc 1k for the maschine. I like my 303 and 404 the most, simple stupid as my friend would say. :P

I just pulled it out the box the other day, I haven't really had a chance to mess with it to much other than when I was at guitar center. It's got 5 gb of samples included with it so I got every possible drum sound you can think of. The software makes it really easy to assign samples to different pads. you can sample from your computers mic input as well. You should check out the videos on the NI site. As soon as I saw it in action I knew I had to have it, sold my mpc 1k to get. Besides I hated the workflow on the 1k. I could never remember al the steps to cue up samples so I dropped it.
