Yeah, you seriously need some kind of controller for Reason.

huh-I guess I'll just have to try different things.

Beanz when you load stuff up in reason do you put complete patterns in the nnxt or just parts ?

I do like scream and that dr.rex-i just sometimes get lazy when I use reason and end up using too much stock stuff.

I usually load in the nnxt and then just add some fx if needed and polish the sound using the a bunch of mastering class modules. I dont use the rex much. Only chop up rex files.

best way to get really deep into your SP is to join in on a round of battling in the arena.

Once you hear what's possible from a single song as your source sample and only SP on the production you will be inspired to tap all the awesomeness of your SP. And once you have the source track on the machine... do what fauna mentioned and post up on the couch with it. That's my favorite way to make beats... sitting on the couch watching ESPN... far away from a desk or a computer.

ya the 388 cool, but it's huge ! I mean I could get rid of the baby's crib and have space, but I don't think the baby will like sleeping on it...... I gotta find a place to put it-may take awhile.

The casio is definately odd. The presets are lame but you can really tweak them with filters and stuff and it's NOT huge..... :D
