some really crazy shit happened to my SP yesterday. it froze up while loading a backup. so i turned it off and it said FER . and lights were blinking like crazy and it deleted all my internal. so i loaded my backup and fixed everything. anyone know what error FER means ?

It means FERget about loadin' those samples chief.
Just kidding, I assume it is an abbreviation for error but I'm too lazy to look in the manual appendix right now.
