i listen to alot of vintage radio mp3s and i came across and old episode of the jack benny show from 1944. the first file is the normal version of a skit, as it was heard live on the radio. the second one i took the fast parts and slowed them down. kind of gave me the creeps!

i bet back then they didnt think people would ever slow it down. but im sure people have, imagin they can speed it up faster into percussions and turn it down a bit. im not shure if it can effect us as a subliminal message because its so fast. but i dont know much about how the brain does shit so ya . i know that if you record in fast forward it wont sound like anything at normal speed.
so its kinda the same thing . also . if you record fast forawrding a tape into like an mpc you can tune it back down to original tempo but the quality will be a little lower.
