what kind of gear you use to do those great beat?

Slick lacy is a killer....makes me think of some jazz cat from paris playing in a smokey cafe...

I Know Iv heard them horns somewhere but cant figure it out...

thanks. i use the 555, 404, and and akai xr20 for most of my drums. and of course my record player for ripping samples.

thanks. i use the 555, 404, and and akai xr20 for most of my drums
i have one xr20, dope drums. but for some reasons i would like to try the boss dr rythm 202, i don't know, maybe for the real time controlling fx...

Got to agree Slick Lacey is cool. Although I like what you've done with sample hangover and Blooper Crooks the most.

Slick Lacey is the joint, sounds like Miles Davis for sure and "Kind of Blue" maybe.
