IF you use a mixer with your sp, why do you use and how?

i use it to sample sounds from various inputs so i can mix them together and so i dont have to change cable connections every time i wanna sample from different sound source. thats it, imo for such a simple purpose even the most cheap mixer will be ok if ya wont use it for live shows or scratching. i have a cheap mixer but it works good even that the crossfader started to glitch after month or two (although i used it for heavy scratching) word.
