I recently swapped out my newly bought 404 for a used 606....why?....well because i came from the MPC "scene" and i really just wanted to get away from the whole MPC style of production....if u ask me...the 606 is as what some people say a low budget or a wack mpc lol but no way...606 is a beast for real....it does the same thing as the mpc..but it has a better feel to it...the swing is dope....i gotta bounce somewhere right now...but i will get back on this peace...overall the whole SP series of samplers are dope and they give a whole new fresh feel to beatmaking...PEACE.

Yea whats up man....theres gonna be alot more activity i hope.......im thinking about gathering some people up and doing a 606 collaborative free downloadable mixtape.....me and my boy T6 aka Teewok are thinking of doing some things soon....but yea man 606 is gonna work out for me....no more going back to the MPC.

SP-606 was definitely a machine ahead of its time. Roland just needs to revolutionize the idea to today's standard.

you can just use it with a recorder

So far I havent had any problems with polyphony

606 is definitely dope - I love it at least so much as I love my 404 ( or even more than that! )
