Hey guys,
I'm having complications with importing my samples to banks. On the memory card, I have 9 samples I want on bank CD named C_01 through C_09. Then I have 7 samples I want to put on bank D named D_01, etc.
When I import the files into the sampler, it imports C_01 through C_09 into bank C, then finishes filling pads 10, 11 and 12 with D_01, D_02 and D_03. It then goes on to bank D, starting pad 1 with file D_04.
How do I separate a group of files into different banks? In other words, how do I get just the C files on bank C, the D files on bank D, etc.
I'll be watching the forums for a response. Thanks much!
Importing help?

When Importing, the 404 will not stop in the middle of a bank. But, After it imports all your samples and you know which ones are which, you can change where they are located by holding del + rec. CNG should read on the screen. Then hit the pad of the sample you would like to move and then the pad of where is should go. The rec light should now be blinking. Hit rec and your done. Rinse & repeat. Welcome aboard. Get Addicted.

do you have to call the first one c_01? i mean, what if you name them something different on the computer(c_01_kick) and make a new folder, and throw in random samples from past 404 backups? will it just lay them out along the pads in the order they were dragged in? sorry to bring this subject up again but i'll be using a computer with my 404 for the first time soon.
