Thanks again for all the love ! really diggin that your all diggin :D

Everything is dome completely in the 404 except mastering. All the sequences are done in the 404 and all the basslines and mixing. I find quantizing at 16th notes works best for me. The bass lines are usually chopped up samples that I ran thru a bunch of FX a few times. That doesnt always work tho. When that doesnt work I resample the subsonic effect in full force at a few different pitches. Then pass it thru EQ and compression. I record the 2 track stereo of the beat thru a grifin iMic interface and master in ableton Live using its built in EQs and a free compressor called blockfish.

I keep bumpin' this, I know the owner of ABB records here in Oakland and was thinking about bringing some of my work along with my folks stuff who have been doing shows with Hieroglyphics and the Grouch for him to check out and see if he's feelin' it at all, but now I'm also thinking I should bring some beats from the forum something like a compilation of sp cats killin' it with the most basic tools.
