Resampling and BPM Question

Post by Chuck »

Say I have a chop that I want to resample and it is 77 BPM, well when I resample it I can't seem to get it to match the 77 BPM. It's usually varies from 75 up to 78. When I play back the resample it sounds perfect though.

I read on here that the 404's BPM read out is not really that accurate. Could this be my problem?

Thanks in advance!

its cause there is extra space at the end of the new resample, its hard to hit end at exactly the right try, shouldn't be a problem if you are using the pattern sequencer, and even if you are just trying to loop something naturally, it isn't that hard to trim it right with the fine tune adjustment, i would usually not try and jump on cuttin it right off though, always better to leave space to work with, and especially with chops, always better to be able to give yourself a few seconds at the beginning or end of the sample than to have resampled it with no room and wish you could change it

Thanks for the responce man, but I think I'm having trouble explaining my problem. I'm sure I'll figure something out though.
