Pad Numbers

Quick noob question...I've had my SP for you few weeks now and I've noticed that the print on the pads (numbers) along with the REC button are wearing away. Is this common? Am I playing it too much?

all my numbers are rubbed off, the circle tap button is rubbed off, and record is fading. i find the pads feel way more friendly now they are worked in.

Cool. I was just wondering if maybe I copped a factory defect or something. Thanks!
