how bout a trip hop psych one? theres a lot of really great beats on here that arent hip hop

Not saying its not a good idea, but personally I dont think we should get caught up in genres, that way everyone can bring something to the table, regardless of what genre they operate in....

That said, it would be cool haha :)

i mean if you want an effective mix tape/djset the songs should have something in common, and to throw in some wild trippy stuff next to a chill madlib-esque beat would be a bit like being blindsided

i think the beat tape included everything that was submitted.

and i don't think i heard anyone talking about genres.

so, that said, send whatever you want for tape number two - and that goes for everyone else on here too. if you make psyche stuff, peeps on here will be down with it.

i only dropped two or three beats due to time/ oversaturation of individual artsts. those are going to two, and i tried to encourage any type of music be submitted. i believe any disparate genres can be on a collection together as long as they are sequenced correctly. my only requirement should be your music be a result of late night inspiration 8)
