flea market find

Post by crumbsucker »

What a Sunday!
Went on the flea market today... made me a solo doobie on the way there
...wooota fok are those yamahas NS-10... should see me strugling trugh the crowd to get to the stand ASAP...
It turned out to be Yamaha NS-615...
Hi-Fi guy was seling them together with some plastic Aiwa HiFi center
so I run home to check on the internet, what uncle google says about NS-615

Nothing bad... so I rushed back to flea market and gave a chap 40 EUR and hurry back home to wire them up.
All I can say, I'm impressed by sound detail and stereo field. The speakers must be 30 years old, they are predecessor of the famous NS-10's... they are bout the same size and use the same woofers and tweaters like NS-10
got to tell somebody

:)

Took the words right outta my mouth.

Awesome find though, older speakers tend to sound better and last long. They just don't make anything like they used to anymore.

I love fried green tomatoes or ripe ones with a little salt. I also can't get enough peppers and hot chiles.
